Why do PFINDER’s products increase your occupational safety?
Through new and further developments of non-labeled test media, PFINDER increases work safety and reduces the potential for danger – while maintaining or even improving applicability. This is GREEN NDT.
What are non-labeled test media?
The CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on the classification, labeling and packaging of substances and mixtures brings EU legislation in line with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) – a system adopted within the framework of the United Nations for classifying chemicals and informing users of the potential risks.
The GHS has been adopted by many countries and now serves as the basis for international and national regulations for the transport of hazardous materials. Standard messages and pictograms on identification labels and safety data sheets draw attention to the dangers posed by chemical substances.
A selection of current product examples:
PFINDER presents another GREEN NDT product evolution that sets standards: PFINDER 900 Plus, the first penetrant without dangerous ingredients! Furthermore, PFINDER 900 Plus convinces with a surprising combination of display sensitivity and ease of removal, as required in production testing processes. Further GREEN NDT advantages such as biodegradability and compliance with all current standards go without saying.

A new development with exemplary character: The alternative to oil-based, black magnetic powder suspensions in an aerosol can. PFINDER 240 is a black magnetic powder suspension in an aerosol can – no labeling required as it is water-based and contains a non-flammable propellant.
Test oils as the carrier medium for magnetic powder concentrates are usually marked with “Xn/harmful to health” due to the risk of aspiration. The newly developed PFINDER 555 meets all current requirements for a carrier medium for magnetic particle testing according to EN ISO 9934-1 and is label-free.
