What is non-destructive testing (NDT)?
The term non-destructive testing (NDT) refers to various test procedures that define the quality of a component and can reveal material defects. The material quality is tested on the surface or inside without damaging or altering the component during the test process.
PFINDER offers consumables for two methods of non-destructive testing:
PFINDER was the first test equipment manufacturer ever to develop a CO2 balance for the most widely used NDT consumables in order to minimise their environmental impact. Aspects of occupational safety, environmental protection and economic efficiency must be considered as equally important factors.
- We call this GREEN NDT.
GREEN NDT enables users, not just to make decisions on the basis of technical and economic criteria, but also to reduce possible impacts on the environment and worker’s safety.
